Dr. Chung was commissioned in the US Navy in 2000, and received his medical degree from Uniformed Services University, in Bethesda, MD. He went on to complete his transitional internship at Naval Medical Center San Diego. Dr. Chung then served as a flight surgeon for 7 years, separating from the US Navy as a Lieutenant Commander. He graduated from UCLA San Fernando Valley psychiatry residency, and then completed a one year fellowship in Addiction Psychiatry.
He is double board-certified in General Psychiatry and Addiction Psychiatry, through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Chung takes the time to carefully listen to all of a patient's concerns, before making any decisions regarding treatment. He is dedicated to empowering his patients to take control of their lives no matter what mental condition they are suffering from. He can treat his patients with psychotherapy, medications, or a combination of both.
Most patients pay $0–$50 per visit, depending on TRICARE plan design and eligibility.
We recommend confirming coverage and expected patient responsibility before booking.
